1. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions for using the information and services that Define404 (디파인404, the "Company") provides on define404.com and its subdomains.
2. Services
The Company provides product information, previews, information about open source tools, and an inquiry channel. Paid services are governed by a separate contract or by separate terms shown on the relevant product screen.
3. Open source
Source code published by the Company is governed by the license stated in each repository (MIT). Where these Terms and that license differ, the license prevails.
4. Previews and AI answers
Shops and information shown on preview screens are examples. Answers generated by AI may be incorrect, so please check the original source before making any important decision.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Sending excessive requests to the services in a way that disrupts their operation
- Entering another person's personal information into a preview AI
- Infringing the rights of the Company or any other person
- Copying or redistributing the site's reports, data, page designs, or code without the Company's permission. Quotation with a clear indication of the source is permitted to the extent allowed under copyright law, and code in repositories published under the MIT License is governed by that license as provided in Section 3.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or automatically collecting data in order to discover the non-public structure, logic, or data of the services and servers
6. Limitation of liability
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or continued availability of information and previews provided free of charge. The Company is liable in accordance with applicable law for damages caused by its intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
7. Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change, the Company will post a notice on this page at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
8. Contact and jurisdiction
Inquiries are received at john@define404.com. Any dispute is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and is handled by the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
